The IWG Global Summit 2026 will take place in Birmingham, UK, on 9th–11th July, convening leaders from governments, international federations, professional sport, academia, brands and advocacy organisations to drive practical solutions for women and girls in sport.
This group of speakers brings a strong focus on systems thinking, digital engagement, leadership pathways and international development, highlighting the breadth of work required to create inclusive and equitable sporting environments. From understanding complex inequalities in physical activity to engaging new generations through digital platforms and strengthening global leadership networks, their work reflects the Summit’s commitment to practical, scalable impact.
Set against a moment of growing global attention on women’s and girls’ sport, the IWG Global Summit will continue to serve as a catalyst for change, accelerating progress, challenging existing systems and supporting organisations to embed equity into everyday practice.
