Do you have findings, insights, learnings or best practice examples that can help level the playing field for women and girls in sport and physical activity? Do you want to share your expertise with global leaders, policymakers and change-makers driving progress on gender equality in sport?
Every four years, the IWG hosts its Global Summit – the foremost international gathering of leaders, stakeholders and decision-makers from across the world. The Summit provides a unique platform to exchange knowledge, showcase innovation, and shape the future of women and girls in sport.
In 2026, the IWG Global Summit will take place at the ICC Birmingham, United Kingdom, from 9–11 July.
Guided by five core themes – Investment, Leadership, Innovation, Visibility, and Participation – we are inviting content proposals to help shape the Summit through:
> 10-minute presentations on our Insight Stage
> Digital poster presentations - visual, interactive displays of research, projects or case studies that will be showcased throughout the Summit venue and online. These allow delegates to explore your work in their own time and connect directly with you for discussion.
> Shift\Sessions – dynamic, interactive workshops where experts and practitioners come together to explore bold ideas, challenge assumptions and identify solutions that can drive lasting change
We want to ensure content is drawn from around the globe so will draw additional content for the Main Stage from these submissions.
