DAY 1
Thursday brought an inspiring programme of keynote speeches and panel discussions, featuring voices including Kirsty Coventry OLY, Professor Laura McAllister and Dave Clarke OBE PLY.
The day also celebrated exceptional leadership in advancing gender equality. Michelle Kang received the 2025 IOC Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award for Europe, while Abhijit Bhattacharya was honoured with the 2025 IOC Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion World Champion Award.
Together, these moments recognised the individuals and organisations leading meaningful progress for women and girls in sport.
DAY 2
Friday began with inspiring keynote addresses from Sebastian Coe and HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, highlighting the importance of gender equality and safe, inclusive environments for women in sport.
The Summit’s interactive Shift sessions then turned ideas into action, with delegates collaborating across five key themes to drive meaningful change.
The day concluded with the official handover of the IWG Secretariat to Brazil, host of the next IWG Global Summit in 2030, marking the start of the next chapter in advancing women and girls in sport.
DAY 3
Saturday marked the final day of the IWG Global Summit on Women & Sport, with a programme centred on continental sessions that explored the opportunities, challenges and progress shaping gender equality in sport across the world.
These conversations highlighted the strength of the global movement while recognising the work that still lies ahead. The Summit concluded with an inspiring closing session led by Annamarie Phelps CBE OLY and Yane Marques, bringing three days of collaboration, learning and shared commitment to advancing women and girls in sport to a close.
